Kids are awfully energetic and honest
Yesterday I had quite an eventful Saturday (trust me it was nothing special, but compared to my "gym-sleep" routine it was eventful).
I was on my way home when one of my friends called me that she just spotted me, we hardly hangout so I was like, well why not today?. She was waiting for her 9 year old sister who had choir rehearsals. We just sat and talked till they were done, immediately it was closing you need to see how these kids ran out, running left, right, zigzag, in cir ular movements,jumping for no reason whatsoever, like nobody was chasing them and they weren't chasing anybody, myself and my friend just sat and marveled at how pumped these tiny people were. You think you're energetic? Lol you need to see these kids,the energy was almost touchable, I couldn't have done some of those movements even if I was injected with steroids, never felt that old in a while.
Finally her sister stepped out and greeted me, she said (in her tiny, innocent, "I just met you for the first time" voice) "Good evening sir". In my head I was like lmaooooo,me sir?, me that I don't have sense?, sir?. 15 minutes later me and this kid were throwing fists playing "Rock -paper-scissors"😂😂yh yh, I couldn't act like a "sir" for longer than that.
Before we got all "buddy buddy" ,she looked me at her sister (my friend) and then looked me dead in the eyes and said, "he doesn't look very interesting "lol, what now little woman?. I was shook, I told her this is the kind of thing you say after I've gone😂 ,like I'm right here. She didn't even feel remorse, apparently to her -to kids, it's feel something and just say it on the spot. That level of honesty my gee.Been a while. We adults are just cunning, fake, 2faced people. I really prefer kids. But minutes later I showed her why they don't call me "the fun bringer" for nothing 💆(nobody really calls me that, totally made it up 😂)
